Honestly, they are so close when it comes down to specs that the difference between the two in quality of gameplay will be very small.

Microsofts xbox is most famous for the online gaming experience that the playstation has failed to match with the PS3.

I think Microsoft has the edge for online play.

Playstation does have the edge in price but people who have been xbox gamers in the past will be much more likely to buy the Xbox One because everything they have done on their account will transfer over.

It all comes down to personal preference.

True...But ps4 seems like it's going to fix all the online crap, considering your going to have to pay to play mp now. Sony says the reason is to fix their online experience and make it better.
Trust me I would prefer xbox if it hadn't brought all that bs with their new console. Even the wii-u seems better to me atm and that's saying something.

I highly doubt Sony is going to match up to the online experience that xbox offers just through the release of the PS4. I have a feeling it will take them a little more time to catch up to Microsoft.

I really don't see the problem in the Xbox One other than not being able to rent games.
Can you buy used ones?

Exactly. People don't realize that the profit the PS+ will be receiving is minimal. Giving away free games + charging less already = Barely anything
In reality, it'll probably take a few years before they can really make a difference with anything.

Wii-U isn't even on the board for next-gen consoles, it's inferior. I can understand if you were 5, it may be reasonable. In that case, switch to another topic. Anyway, logically there really isn't much BS.

But to answer your question Finder,

-We haven't had a confirmation on how renting games will work, yet. But it should be available.

-Buying used games is possible. Apparently, several ways could work.
-Buy game from friend or unsupported stores, pay a fee depending on the market value for the game. So an old game could possibly run 20$ for a license.

-Stores who are part of the Microsoft system apparently would include the license in the purchase and the profits would be split. (Not entirely sure if this is 100% how it works, but it's basically integrating with Microsoft)

-Or you buy and sell right off your console, you just sell your license which would render your disk and the game useless.
