So "rumours" going around that you need a minimum of 1.5mbps download speed for the box one to enable it to function proerpely. Don't know why but I'm so gutted with Microsoft.. Thought they were going to blow me out of the water but if anything they have pulled me further under.. PS4 is looking so much better ATM

I would think that this day in age that most people would have at least a 1.5 down speed. I understand if you live in some rural area but the majority of people (I would hope) should have 1.5 down.

That's a very good point.

I would imagine mostly everyone has at least that download speed, most likely higher.

I just took a speedtest on wifi.
42 down
9 up

I live in the middle of nowhere, my town has like 6,000 people in it.

I pay hardly anything from Comcast for TV and Phone.

In reality, most people have at least a 5 down. In the 90's, you had a 56 KB connection to run off of. 1.5 MB really isn't much faster.

93% Of Australian residents will be connected to the NBN(National Broadband Network). With speeds up to 100MB/S. Lets just hope me and you are one of those 93% haha (;
