Murderers can most of the time be easily proved.

its not about being proved or not. The point he is making which most of you are missing and i dont know how is that the severity of the crime doesnt fit the punishment.

We live in a society governed by law, a law that says that the more severe the crime the more time you do.

Now, Brutaly Murdering someone, beating their skull until its mush with a Brick, in the UK, will get you a life sentence of 25 years if you plead guilty. If you are well behaved, you CAN be released as early as 14 years into your sentence.

Now, in the UK DDOS laws state that any person caught committing a DDOS attack WILL feel the full extent of the law and get a prison sentence for NO less than 10 YEARS.

correct me if im wrong, but how is causing a DDOS attack and taking down a website equivalent or close to equivalent of beating a persons brain in and only receiving another 4 years ?.

Rapists convicted of rape only get between, 3-8 years. And the person who they raped have the rest of their lives ruined.

You look at the statistics and tell me that we dont live in a society thats utterly and completely ****.

On top of this those of you that are saying society ISNT corrupt, are you sure ? i mean do you even watch the news or read a paper? Celebrities commit acts of violent assault or like George Michael, drove a car into a wall while under the influence of Cocaine AND on a driving ban, got a 3000 pound fine.

Average citizen does that, hes looking at a serious prison sentence for the DUI alone, then there's Criminal damage and Driving while suspended. Probably a 10 year Custodial sentence with no chance of early release.

Please argue that isnt corrupt because id love to hear a justification of that.

You also seem to forget this is the uk, murders normally get off with manslaughter at best.The laws here a stupid beyond belief but the op is talking complete crap, hackers getting more than rapists and murderers, hard proof of this happening?

at the end of the day, a crime is a crime.
If you didn't commit the crime, then you wouldn't be put in any of those situations.
As soon as you break the law, don't expect mercy. You know you are wrong.

Not really as murders will stay in jail longer than there actual sentence to benefit them more in the court case and have better chance of winning.

your joking right statistics mean nothing? there founded by hard evidence anyone that says the world isnt corrupt has never left there house and seen the real world and its not just hacking theres alot of crimes out there that arent worth 10-15 years in prison if we stopped giving people large sentences for such petty crimes then we would have alot more money and not regular people turned into hardened criminals by the time there released only to cause more trouble then what they did when they first got arrested
