So seen as the Xbox one is cheaper to buy in the US and one of my friends is going there in November, I was thinking of getting him to buy it for me while he's there. But would there be any problems with running UK purchased games on a US console?

Well you wouldn't be able to play games on it purchased in the UK. It would only play games bought in America.

I kinda figured that would be the case. Was just hoping to save my self some money as it costs more in the UK due to shipping and taxes. Thanks for the replies rep on its way.

I first got my Xbox in the UK, i then moved to Australia, i have to use a plug that inserts in to the Xbox and in the plug n point. I can play both English and U.K games, I'm thinking it should be the way for UK-US.

Just worked out the price difference and its $174 more in the UK and EU than the US. How can they justify that?

Taxes more than likeley %20 VAT, shipping costs etc also something to do with the exchange rate of the Pound Sterling to the Dollar
