I have a Windows Phone (Nokia Lumia 900 to be exact) and all I see around forums and online and even at school is that people always hate on windows phones. But why? Sure, it doesnt have alot of first-party apps, but it has lots of 3rd-party apps that work perfectly fine. And hell Windows Phones have some of the best camera's on the market. And whenever I use my phone people always ask about the Live Tiles, but then they laugh and are like "lol windows phone have no apps".
What do you guys think about Windows Phones

I just don't like the UI.
All the squares and all apps in one list.. in my view ugly.

I think people hate on Windows phones because they associate it with Microsoft and their Windows 8, Vista, ect. People think that the PCs they have suck and they think that their phones suck too. The windows Phones are found bad by association.

I've been using a Windows Phone (HTC Titan 2) for the past few months (I switch out phones pretty often), and I gotta say I love it. It's true the UI is pretty ugly, since in my opinion Microsoft is taking Metro a little too far. The thing I love is strangely the lack of first party apps. No longer am I tempted to download the latest "hot apps" from Android Marketplace or the iOS App Store. I don't find myself cluttering up my space with useless apps anymore.
The thing is I have hardcore OCD when it comes to phones and computers. I'm a minimalist and my phones usually end up looking like this: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] <--- EDIT: Forgot TTG hates external links. so tiles aren't that horrifying (except for the color selection, eww).
It does what I need it to do: call, text, and browse 4chan/TTG. Obviously Android and iOS are lightyears ahead of it, but it really is a good line of phones for people that don't want anything fancy or clunky. It's simple, smooth, and to the point.
