Hey guys! Recently i've been looking at an alienware x51 i3 tower. However, I know that computer will not run Battlefield 3 on ultra setting. Basically, can anybody point me into the right direction of buying a tower for under $1000 that can play battlefield on ultra setting?

On that budget build one yourself you will make a pretty awesome machine for $1000, buying a brand one like FAILenware you will end up with a meh-ok one

I have no idea how to create my own computer though. I don't know what supplies to get.

It's really simple, it's obvious where all the parts go when you sit and look at it plus most of the parts will only fit a certain way anyway.

If you post in the PC Building section using the form provided in one of the stickies someone will be able to provide all the parts you need for your needs and your budget.

There are lots of good tutorials out there and one that I can personally recommend is on the newegg YouTube channel. It's a 3 part video and I will put the links below if you are interested.

I would personally recommend you build your own, it's a good experience plus you get a lot more for your money.
