You're right, not everyone wants the Kinect. I don't disagree. It isn't a waste of money though. However, if you don't want it, there's a simple solution; don't use it. It's included, and it doesn't hurt you by not using them. Turn it towards the wall if you have to. It's helpful to the user for not missing out on things that need Kinect, and also doesn't leave game Developers wondering if their customers have Kinect, and if they need to make a game that requires it; since everyone will have it with the Xbox One, it make's implementing it and features for it easier, more fun, and more interactive for the user experience.

A "All-in-one Entertainment Device" actually. Yes, it can do media stuff and has a vast amount of features for it. However, just because they've included this doesn't mean it isn't a gaming console. You don't have to use the media features on the Xbox to play your favorite game. Example: You don't have to watch live TV whilst you're playing Call of Duty Ghosts. If you don't like the media features, again, its simple; don't use them. What is left after the media stuff is gone, you ask? That's also easy to answer: Games, Games, Games! Don't get me wrong, I think both systems will be excellent. But you cant go around saying the Xbox is "less of a gaming console" when it provides gamers' with gaming experiences they expect from a gaming console, and has more features they don't necessarily need/want. They can still game like they want to, and that's all they should need to worry about; not about whether it can do TV and Games at the same time.

People don't realize that everything that made the Xbone different is now gone lol now there same except Sony was sincere from the start and MS is only doing this because they virtually have to. Would you wrather give money to a homeless person that's going to go out and buy a bunch of crack or money to a homeless person that's going to buy a healthy meal. In the end there both fine consoles but I really don't like MS right now and before someone finds a way to completely insult and take apart what I just said, don't bother cause i'm going the f*ck to sleep right after I hit submit.

I don't know if you have seen the capabilities of the Kinect 2? It can detect Micropulses in the blood veins coming from your skin and detect your heart rate. The thing is incredible technology for only 100 dollars. You will use it all the time if you actually watched MS E3 Conferences.

You don't even know what youre talking about. The hardware between the two consoles are barely even different enough to notice a difference in gaming. Youre not even getting it for that reason anyway. And 100 bucks wooptee doo I make triple that I a week, and I'm sure other people do as well.

Who knows, microsoft might even drop the price, unlike other companies microsoft have actually listened to the public and change a few features and now people are complaining about prices.....
