My labtop is a samsung withgb of ram an amd a8 quad core with 4 gb of ram and a radeon graphics card 1.90 ghz i was planning on going to a local best buy to have them give me the best possible graphics card that would run with my computer
Does this sound like a good idea or should i wait to buy a whole new labtop i dont really have the money to buy a whole new computer though

Very few laptops can take new graphics cards, I'm guessing yours can't as it is a low-end system. The choice of laptop GPU's is very slim. I would suggest the same as Dirt- in saying save up and build a PC.

You can't upgrade the gpu in a laptop, lol.

OP, the graphics in your laptop cannot be upgraded. It uses an APU which has the CPU and GPU on the same chip. Having a discrete card/chipset defeats the purpose.
