Hello I am going to be creating a game for my extended project at College.

I am not to sure on what game I am going to make or the name of it.

Can you give me some advice on programs, programming languages (Beginner) and anything else I need to put to practise.

I am on a time-scale of 8 months to complete it...

All advice is welcome.

Thank you

If you understand how programming works at the very least then you can never go wrong with making a game in Java, it's not hard to learn and capable of wielding great outcomes.

Thank you very much for the reply. If I was to make a game that included graphics (ie. Moving People and things) what sort of programs would I need to use ?

If you wanna go advance try C++ or Java. Java isn't hard to learn though. Another program I recommend is [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] Hope I helped!!

The best language you can learn first is C++ because it makes very good games and if you master it then you can easily learn any other language. A good website to start is [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] or buy a book like Accelerated C++ by Andrew Koenig.
