PS4 as an early Christmas gift to myself.

I have previously owned a Xbox 360. I have enjoyed it very much and have definitely gotten my years out of it. Now I am going to switch over to the PS4 just over the simple fact I want a gaming console, not an entertainment center. As Microsoft will be redoing their DRM, I'm sure it will make the Xbox One much better and it will still be a good console. Just to me, The PS4 is looking great and I'm sure it will be.

I'm a 360 owner, and this has definitely strengthened by bond with the Xbox One. I was very skeptical at first, and it just didn't feel right it switch. It literally felt like I was making the whole Xbox thing down. But this has made me more sure of my decision.

I have almost every console and I think I'm going to stop getting Microsoft's future console products. I feel like MS is focusing more on social media and television then cooler functionality features. I want to play games and only games. All of this bull**** that they added is not appealing to me. All I want to do is chill and play with friends. Not have some all-in-one entertainment system. That's just my opinion though.

not trying to argue i just want to understand you are counting them adding to entertainment as a negative even though they are also still adding just as much to gaming as PS4. this is not an argument i just want to understand your thought process

Im still PS4. Back with Playstation after leaving for the 360. PS1 and 2 were unbeatable and the PS4 just looks amazing and much better compared to the xbox one.
