For people saying that microsoft are trying to drain customers of their money are just stating the obvious. The main aim of a business is to make profit... SIMPLE.

Profit = Expansion = More profit = Expansion.. You get the point.

Money makes the world go round, anyone who says different is a fool.
Although I would just like to point out.. Bill gates the founder of microsoft has donated more money to charity than the 8th richest man in the world.. (Used to be the case maybe this achievement has changed)

Just because something is expensive NOW after all their hard work doesn't make them a greedy corporation. One day the price will fall as they point their hard work to another project that will make them more money.

I think what Microsoft done was smart. Anyone who claims sony is loyal to their consumers needs to get their head from under their ball sack. Sony are draining consumers of their money just like any other business set up to make money. They just go about it a different way..
