I like many people dont care about entertainent, i buy a console to play games not to watch tv. You can watch tv by simply pressing a button on your remote, why pay an extra $100 for it?

Yes, the PS4 is still in the lead most likely from an analysts standpoint as of right now the PS4 will sell alot more at launch than the Xbox One, will Xbox catch up? Yes, they will but it will most likely be the same way with PS3 catching up to the Xbox in sales every 1 or 2. The launch and christmas time is the most important part for sales and I think as of right now PS4 has it but Xbox One could always come back with something though.

I think this is good for Sony.. I'm neutral on both sides of the spectrum but I'm happy with what both companies have done.

I couldn't agree more. I've had a 360 since 2007 but me and my friends are finally switching mainly because of PS4's a cheaper console, backwards compatibility, PS Plus is cheaper than XBL, No camera required, cool features like PlayRoom and you can download multiplayer or single player first when you buy a game digitally, and Xbox One is all about entertainment. Sony focuses on gamers because they made a gaming console, not a cable box than can play games.

Microsoft have done nothing but match what the PS4 already had and even with this DRM change they have lost some abilities that they had before such as game sharing through the internet/system. Overall the xbox one is just an updated xbox 360, nothing new but more tv and livestreaming which all could have been done on the 360.

if Microsoft have done nothing, what has the ps4 improved compared to the ps3 except graphics? what have they done to make it "next generation"?? at least xbox have took RISKS.
