1. When you get host, back out. You should be level 50.

2. Before prestiging, go to the main menu (Where it says CAMPAIGN, MULTIPLAYER, ZOMBIES, and OPTIONS on the TV)

3. Then go back to multiplayer and prestige.

Warning: If you haven't main menued before prestiging EVERY TIME, you will be reset to your normal rank when you main menu, so don't say it doesn't work yet, you got deranked because you didn't make it stick, which is the whole point of this topic, to show you the method on getting your rank to stick permanently.

Q: When I'm promoted to 15th prestige lvl 50 and back out when I'm host it still says 15th lvl 1, how do I fix it?
A: Just back out to where it says Xbox Live, Local, etc. and go back to Xbox Live, you should be level 50 instead of 1. Then just main menu and come back, your rank should stick, so enjoy 15th 50!

Q: How do I get 9 million+ CoD points, from the XP lobby?
A: You must suicide exactly 22 times while in an XP lobby and I don't mean 22 deaths, I mean suicides so if you get killed once go until you have 23 deaths, since one wasn't a suicide. The only problem about this is that your CoD points won't stick if you suicide while you're host of the lobby, because somebody else with the infection has to be host while you suicide. Once you reach 22 just repeat steps 1-3 like normal, except, don't prestige of course!
