If you still continue to ride, where protective gear!

Thanks a lot mate, I can't do much at the moment but I'll live
Yea it is repairable
Needs new right and front panel, new front forks, new nose cone, new mirrors.
Gonna cost near 200 pounds, I'm just glad it wasn't a right off.

Glad to hear that your okay.

My sister got in a motorcycle wreck with her boyfriend. she was doing 60-65 on a farm market road when they came up on a truck that slowed down and moved to the right seeming as he wanted my sister to pass him. This is where it went bad. The guy in the truck swerved left with no blinker into his driveway. My sister & her boyfriend hit the rear end of the truck doing 60mph.
She broke her wrist & knee, and has a lot of road rash on her legs and inner thighs. her boyfriend also had road rash and his tip of his finger was hanging by some skin, messed up his back and wears a back brace, he also broke his hand which had to have a plate in it. Their both in terrible pain but are getting better.

Wow that's crazy, it just shows, you have got to be expecting everything on a bike. As you're not inclosed in a metal shell. It's good to hear they are getting better.

At least it's cheaper than a whole new bike

my friend has a pretty large crotch rocket(not into motorcycles dont know the size or anything) and he always wears a jacket, helmet, and pants.

You can still always get hurt bad no matter how you're protected.

What I do is stay away from motorcycles alone. They're fun, but with all the idiot drivers out there that don't know how to drive, there's a big chance of you being involved in a accident.

My father was apart of a bikers clan in the 90s, they raced and bought/sold bike and vehicles. He lost 4 of his best friends in motorcycle accidents. He also had his heart stop when a car swerved into him and hit him. Luckily he was revived, if he wasn't i'd not be alive. He once drove on a highway with his buddies, a buddy attempted to pass a truck, the truck swerved and his friend tried to avoid being hit by the truck, so he swerved off the road and went under and highway sign, he was decapitated on impact.

What you did was a mistake, and it happens to a lot of people who drive motorcycles, mopeds,scooters,w.e.
But many times it's not what YOU do, it's what others do.

tl;dr It's not how you drive the motorcyle, it's how others drive. They will be the ones that will kill you.
