So I want to get Elgato Game Capture HD and also new Laptop to record my Xbox 360 Gameplays and so on, but the thing I want to ask is: Would it matter if the laptop got under 2.0 GHz, for example 1.8 GHz?

Also what would change it if GHz was below the recommended one? I'm not really good with all this computer things.

Last but not least, here are the specs for Elgato and the laptop I want to get:

System Requirements (Elgato)

Mac: Mac OS X 10.7 or later, 2.0 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo CPU
PC: Windows 7 or later, 2.0 GHz dual core CPU, sound card
4 GB RAM, built-in USB 2.0 port
*********************************************************

CPU, Memory and Operating System: (Laptop I want to get)

Intel Celeron dual core B830 processor.
1.8GHz processor speed.
8GB DDR3 RAM memory.
750GB/SATA hard drive.
Microsoft Windows 8.
********************************************************

Thanks for your help you all.

P.S. other laptop specs I got on my mind (more GHz) -- I get it if the one above will not be ok:

CPU, Memory and Operating System:

Intel Pentium dual core B950 processor.
2.1GHz processor speed.
6GB DDR3 RAM memory.
750GB/SATA hard drive.
Microsoft Windows 8.

So basically as I stated in 'P.S.' I'd have to get that one? I really don't mind spending a little bit more on new laptop, I was just wondering to be honest. Thanks.

You need to get a new computer, I had the same situation with a very old computer and tried to use the elgato software and it would never work in various ways.
