Hello TTG, I have a question about external hard drives...

Is there any limitations with using an external hard drive on an Xbox(slim)?

I have a 1 tb harddrive on my phat xbox and have had no restrictions with it although there could be small bad effects that could occur

The biggest it can be is 16GB unless it is a special one designed by Microsoft corporation and authorized by Xbox.
