Try to delete the title update on both the retail and the JTAG and make sure you remove all mods then try to connect in system link. Also does system link just not work for MW2 or is it all games?

this use to happen to me and i never could figure out why but one time i got it to work and i changed one of the modded files. if it cant connect it might not be the TU it might be one of the other files, try downloading a well know one that you know for sure works and you are putting them in the right paths!

yes you do but make sure they are correctly copied because in the cache folder there should be other folders and you just want them in the cache not in another folder. then copy the ,dll into the MW2 directory. but if your saying its not working then it might be the .dll your using, like i said check the files make sure they actually work because it sounds like your doing everything right
