In order to download IOS 7 BETA 2, do I need to have Beta 1 installed first.

I am currently on IOS 6.1.3. Its an IPHONE 4s

I went to Software update and it tells me im up to date.

Now I went to Apple website to get the IOS 7 Beta 2 and it told me to log in and it asked me questions as if I was a DEV.

What does that mean, im just a user, not a DEV. Can I still download it?

BTW Whoever helps me gets 100 rep.

So what is my next move

you don't need to be a dev or have beta 1 installed, you need to go to this site

[ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

download the firmware for your phone, then restore your iphone to a fresh 6.1.3 and then press shift on your keyboard and press check for update at the same time and select the ios7 firmware for your device, leave it and it should work. make sure you back it up first though

what does DEV mean though when updating. Because it told me to input my email and password, once I did, it took me to another page where it asked me question such as what role describes me more.

What happens if I register as a Developer? That's my question

if you register as a DEV (Developer) you get access to the beta's whenever they're released without needing to do all this stuff to get it, but it costs money to become a DEV i think.
