No you can't.
now go back to your hole.
The PS4 can run PS1, PS2, and PS3 games using an online game library called Gaikai
You can't play them from disk, but you can stream them.

Very helpful and valid post! You should continue to update this Topic, and even post this on the Xbox One General Discussion so people can really choose the correct console for them! I approve of this post!

Turnt wrote In this topic I will just be showing the obvious/clear advantages of the PS4 over the Xbox One.
GDDR5
As most of you may know, the PS4 will have 8GB of GDDR5 RAM. The Xbox One has 8GB of DDR3 RAM. The PS4's GDDR5 is slightly faster in the sense of bandwith. PS4's memory will have bandwidth of ~170 GB/s, while X1 DDR3 will have "only" ~70 GB/s. However, X1 also uses 32 MB of eSRAM to help it out from the 100 GB difference in bandwidth. So this means the PS4 is going to do slightly better in its graphics.
Price
Obvious, the PS4 will sell for $400 and the Xbox One will sell for $500.
Removable HDD
Old Headsets
Unlike the Xbox One, you can use you're old PS3 headsets on the PS4 without buying a whole new headset for the PS4. The new Xbox headsets are being redone making them compatible for the Xbox One because most Xbox headsets are not bluetooth and will now work with the new Xbox One input on the controller.

No Mandatory Camera
A camera will not be required to make the console work or to play your games, the Xbox One Kinect is mandatory for the console to work and play its games.
Gamer Friendly
Sony is focusing on games with the PS4. Not entertainment.
Playstation Plus
To me and most people, Playstation Plus is much better than Xbox Live. With PS Plus you can get free/discounted games, early betas, cloud online game saves, automatic updates. And you do not have to have a PS Plus membership to party chat or access online media services like Netflix. Even better, when you buy a PS Plus membership for one account, it automatically gives all the other accounts on your Playstation access to PS Plus. So you only have to buy PS Plus one time!
Backwards Compatibility
The PS4 can run PS1, PS2, and PS3 games using an online game library called Gaikai. The Xbox one, even though Xbox has Games-On-Demand, there will be no cloud or digital Backwards compatibility with Xbox 360 games. A Microsoft Representative said,
Xbox One hardware is not compatible with Xbox 360 games, ... We designed Xbox One to play an entirely new generation of gamesgames that are architected to take full advantage of state-of-the-art processors and the infinite power of the cloud. We care very much about the investment people have made in Xbox 360 and will continue to support it with a pipeline of new games and new apps well into the future.

PSN
Playstation Network is getting better and better. The fact that when you buy a game digitally you can choose to buy the Single Player or Multiplayer first is amazing. Plus the speed of doing things on the PS4 with PSN is incredible.
If you enjoyed please thank the topic! I'll be making a topic about the Xbox One advantages over the PS4 soon!
Before I begin, I've supported all companies, I end up buying every system and this generation is no different for me.
Network
Some people swear that PS+ is a better service because of "free" games and such. Newsflash, you are paying for these games and you don't get to keep them. After you cancel your membership those games will go away, Xbox Live started doing so and lets YOU keep the games even after going silver. Also anybody that doesn't know how to use Amazon to buy membership cards is doing it wrong. Amazon usually has cards for 45$ for Xbox Live and sometimes even lower. I have yet to pay more than that for a 12 month subscription to Xbox Live. Also Microsoft announced 300k servers to be used for the Xbox One, which guarantees dedicated servers. Sony has yet to announce anything besides for first party games, which means 3rd party games could suffer from P2P connections.
Sony getting hacked was a great thing, showed them that "plaintext" isn't the safest way to keep their customers personal information. Glad they fixed that up. Also it's great that now they are charging so they can build a better network. Not saying theirs is bad, but it doesn't match Xbox LIVE.
Price
399$/499$
Xbox One not only gives you the Kinect (which will also allow devs to put some effort in motion games instead of gimmicky junk), it gives you a full entertainment system. Skype (cross platform chat), HDMI In (Wanna plug in your Xbox 360/PS3 or PS4?) and other great features. I do wish they would've used GDDR5 instead of DDR3, which kudos to Sony for doing so, but in the end, Sony fans hide behind the "this is a gaming console, that's what I want", it's like comparing a flip phone to a smartphone, features are enjoyable and bring new ideas to the table. Go trade in your Android/iOS/Windows phone for a flip phone, let me know how much fun you are having.
Exclusives
When I saw the E3 presentation and saw Kingdom Hearts III, Final Fantasy XV and all that, I said to myself. Microsoft is done, those franchises are great and even though I AM buying both systems, that was making me lean towards the PlayStation 4 as a main console. But guess what, day after they get announced for the Xbox One. Only interesting exclusive that gets my attention at the moment is InFamous Second Son. Xbox One did a better job with exclusives at E3, you may disagree, but a non biased gamer will probably agree.
Hard Drive
The Xbox One hard drive is not removable but it allows you to use an external hard drive, so it's not that bad of a trade off. I've downloaded a lot of stuff and I was never able to fill over 200GB on a Xbox 360 hard drive. You may say "well you have to install games and blu ray discs are big". I would only plan on keeping the few games I play the most in there, I don't need to have every single game installed. I did the same thing with the 360 no complaints there.
Gaikai
You realize that's not free right? BC is nice, but why buy games again you already played over and over? What makes you think that with all the amazing titles coming out you would like to go pay to play some old school game again? If it was free sure, but paying for it. No thanks.
Headsets
Hats off to Sony on this one, glad they did that and it was a good move. Doesn't affect me much since I have my Astro's with GSP so when new ones come out, I'll be just swapping them for the new ones
Video Sharing
Sony offers system to record clips and share with your friends so they can beat a level? (how corny), I know it also can be uploaded to YouTube and all but, Microsoft is giving you a full editor with intros, voiceovers, outros and everything, every 12 year old dreams come true.

Source? use your brain and watch the trailer.. try that with a shit connection, impossible. PSN will have loads of ads, while XBL won't have any.

PSN
If you enjoyed please thank the topic! I'll be making a topic about the Xbox One advantages over the PS4 soon!
Yeah i understand maybe 2 of these.
The Xbox One is made for gamers and entertainment. What don't you understand what that? Everything PSN has Xbox already has. the reason PSn doesn't have the "Entertainment Apps" Like Xbox is because they don't want / have money to get them on their systems. Also another thing, you know that statement is true because they even said "No" to Minecraft on PSN. Like? Who does that Lol. I'm an Xbox fan but I was a PSN fan before Xbox. So I know what I am talking about so don't try and flame.
Yes, but they focused mainly on Entertainment and you know it. If I want TV I can change the channel with my remote. And I'm pretty sure PSN has Netflix, Hulu, Youtube, Crackle, Vudu and a internet browser just like Xbox does, no one else uses those shitty apps anyway beside Nexflix Hulu and Youtube. And link me to the source where they said "no" to Minecraft on PSN?
Lol! Awqward moment when a Sony fanboy get's mad Because he know's that Minecraft wont ever come to ... "PSN" God! It hurt's me to say PSN It sound's like a New Chocolate Bar or TV Provider The Bunch of Douche's! God
Minecraft is never going to PSN , BECAUSE IT'S AN XBOX EXCLUSIVE AHAH YEP IT'S EXCLUSIVE SO ARE MANY OTHER "AMAZING" GAME'S Which Sony fan boy's get jelous over HAHA Oh God Be Quiet you playstation people get annoying.
Minecraft isn't an Xbox Exclusive. Get your head out of your ass, Xbox Kiddie. If it was, it would only be on the Xbox. Is it? Nope. It's on the Pi, Phones, Tablets, and PC. Not an exclusive.
Microsoft was doing great until they released the Kinect and all the little kids came flowing in and ruining Xbox Live, that's why I got a PS3 to play with a more mature audience.(You know it)Xbox Live has been having too many problems with Xbox live recently, people always forget that Xbox live has been hacked before, all these Xbox fanboys are going to deny it but whatever. All I have to pay is $5 for online and I get free games every month and PSN has party chat. Microsoft had the nuts to raise the price for a 3 month, first it was $19.99 then $24.99, like WTF? Its like there not getting enough money.Oh yea, what about the RRoD problems? Microsoft loss billions of dollars in repairs due to how stupid and lazy they were. PSN has always had more better exclusives than Xbox. And who wants a Kinect, they things were horrible! That's all I rash on Xbox on for now.
