The 7950 is extremely good for the money and it's hard to recommend an upgrade. In what games are you not satisfied with its performance?

I love my card and it's a beast overclocker but, Metro 2033 and last light plus a few of my other favorite titles like Crysis 3 and Far Cry just are too demanding as I run dual monitors so it also takes a little performance away.

Since the issues are with big titles, you shouldn't have any issues with Crossfire compatibility. Adding another 7950 is definitely an option if your power supply allows it and if you can sell the card you have, the 780 is the only card that I can actually recommend if you want to upgrade from a 7950 because it's the only one that performs a lot better for a reasonable price.

Yeah that's where I'm stuck at because they discontinued my card so it would be hard to find brand new. I think I will just go for the 780. Thanks r00t

You can use any 7950 for Crossfire. Which do you have?

Just my opinion:

Buy a GTX 780 or a High-end NVIDIA Card. AMDs CPUs and GPUs have been known not to handle high voltage and custom settings. The card you have is very good but of course there is better (Titan or 780). Crossfire / SLI is mainly for multiple monitors so I would not recomend that unless you have Multile Monitors 2-3+ That is. If you have any other questions feel free to quote this..

...Are you saying AMD cards and CPUs are weak overclockers?

Hmm really.... my clocks look pretty high [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] but you're right they dont overclock well.
