So I just recently ordered a torx screwdriver so that I can fix my controller. But I am scared that it isn't just that it needs to be cleaned because what is happening is that the left analog stick likes to get stuck in the forward spot and the right analog stick likes to turn slow. I am just wondering if I can even fix these.

you might need new analog sticks or when you get the screw driver open it up and clean the part where the analogs sticks are.

I'm hoping that is all, but if I have to buy another controller I'm gonna fill this one up with firecrackers and watch it blow up on the fourth of july :offtopic:

Sometimes the analog can get worn from alot of moving and get removed from the stick that it sets on. This is probably the case

I was gonna record it actually. I'm pretty sure everyone would get a kick out of seeing xbox shrapnel going into my body.

I dunno I'm just hoping for the best, and by that I mean I hope I don't look at the analog sticks and what they're held in and see that they're completely destroyed and that I need a new controller/analog sticks.
