Right, so I have a blackberry at the moment and my mums boyfriends is upgrading to the new iPhone and he's giving me his iPhone 4 but I don't have a micro sim. So would I be able to get a new SIM card but keep my current contract because my contract is amazing, I also don't want to change my number.

You could buy a SIM cutter, they are cheap and they will make your SIM fit in the iPhone, if you are not comfortable doing it yourself then go into a phone shop and see if they can do it, if not just go to your network provider's shop and talk to them about transferring your contacts and info to a new SIM while keeping your contract.
