Updated the thread, new question (rather than making a whole new topic).

ASUS is a good brand, I have a G73 and it's pretty dam awesome.
The Blade seems somewhat overpriced, all you're really paying for is the slim design.

4700MQ and GTX770M or 780M and starting at $1399? It sounds pretty dam awesome.
According to this, the 4700MQ and 4700HQ are basically identical: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
The Fangbook sounds pretty dam good, you can pick out better specs and it's better than the Blade.

That is without tax and shipping and that though.
It is Cyberpower PC, I see people talking about them on the forums all the time.
The Blade and Asus are still good choices, the Blade would preform better than the G75 though.

Wart wroteJIF wroteWart wroteJIF wrote If you're looking for portable gaming, I can't stress enough how bad laptops are for gaming. While they can have some pretty decent specs, they run hot and the battery dies fast.Sorry I can't really see that working for me. Battery isn't a problem by the way. I'm just wondering if the specs are any good for the games I listed and if this product as a whole is worth it and/or if theres anything better.
For portablity, I would recommend a mini itx pc. They are really compact, but still give you all the power of a normal pc. While it may not be very light or capable of gaming in the car, you will be able to run high end games (depending on your system specs) and easily take it from place to place.
If this doesn't suit your needs, a laptop will do, but it is a very bad choice for gaming.
If it's a must, then by all means it is still good for gaming. The i7 and mobile graphics aren't as capable as their stationary counterparts, but you should be able to play just about any game you'd want on good settings. You'd thank yourself if you spent a little bit extra for a 512gb ssd.
Let me ask, is it just the fact that it's a laptop that you want it? I havn't checked lately, but you should be able to do the same for cheaper with other brands (depending on if they are actually cheaper)
As for memory I'll just buy a 1TB external hard drive. No point paying like 300 more for something that's only under 100? Also, do you have any recommendations for any gaming laptops/gaming laptop brands.

Just build one on Pc specialist or something.
If you have the cash

That doesn't seem as good as a Razer which is like a couple hundred cheaper...
AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA Yes becasue you picking the parts to run it at higher specs rather then paying for the Razer Name makes total sense, I mean it's your money to waste so do what ever
