I installed a h100i in my pc and the temps went crazy high. With my Hyper
212 I was getting 75 celcius max at these clocks and now I'm at 85-90.
At load 100% I was getting mid 70's now it's mid 90's.
I've removed old thermal paste that came with the h100 and reapllied it two different times with no success. My idle temps are around 50 degrees and thats really to high for only a 4.2ghz OC. Any suggestions?

Which thermal paste are you using and which method to apply it? Are you using the stock fans that came with the H100i and is a fan profile set up in Link software. You could also check to see if the pump on your unit is working.

I used arctic silver 5 I applied a pea sized amount and yes it's all set up in the link software with the original fans in pull config. The pump is on the highest setting also.

From what i hear AS5 does need a number of weeks to "cure" before it operates at its optimum temps, but in any case that does seem too high. Something to check would be the mounting of the backplate and fittings on the cooling block.

Return the h100i and buy an ND-D14. You're welcome.

Could get the Phanteks model instead, pick a color, then take the heatspreaders off your RAM.
