This little tut should stop a lot of the black screen threads, the reason a lot of people
are getting a black screen is because the kv that got flashed was for the opposite console

If you have a SLIM read the blue if you have a PHAT read the red

(> Skip to step 2 if you already have a kv_dec extracted <)

I have a Phat kv but a Slim console:

1- Extract the kv_dec from your nand image

2- Drag it into a hex editor, look for byte 29

3- Edit byte 29 with F0

4- Edit byte 36-43 with FF

Should look like this when done: F0 00 00 00 00 00 00 FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF

(> Skip to step 2 if you already have a kv_dec extracted <)

I have a Slim kv but a Phat console:

1- Extract the kv_dec from your nand image

2- Drag it into a hex editor, look for byte 29

3- Edit from byte 29-43 with 0's (zero's)

Should look like this when done: 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00

well sorry for trying to help the community a bit, not every member here has a converter and most whine about a virus scan when someone posts one, i see threads all the time with the same black screen bulls*** so i thought i would share, this is exactly why i never share any info though because of smartass's like you that just think they are all top s*** instead of being a normal person and saying thanks for a contribution it didnt help me but it might help somebody.
