Yes it will happen, People will make it their personal mission, Even if the mods don't get released it will be to prove how good they actually are, Nothing is impossible remember that .

I wouldn't be surprised if Grand theft auto 5 was modded. It may not be right after its release but around 6-12 months down the track it is more than possible. Remember that this game is on the Xbox360 and PS3. Not the Xbox One and PS4

I think they will have more then enough things to do without needing to mod it. That's one big thing i see GTA modders say "i only iso mod so i can give cool cars to people". They will have so many things to do in GTA V modding wont be needed.

Definatly wont be able to by hot swapping as most new games are impossible to hotswap,but maybe jtags

Sooner or later GTA V will be modded. Games like that are always modded.

The game IS coming out for the PC though.

I WILL BET YOU ANY AMOUNT THAT EVENTUALLY IT WILL BE MODDED... They cant make something that secure that it's not possible, they tried with forza horizon and it didn't work at all.
