I pluged the wrong plug into it and its not turning on but I could say aswell my computer was in the back of my friends car and it fell over and it broke

Well if you plugged the wrong plug in then why not just say that as its not that bad to say to him

Don't do the it fell in my friends car thing, im 100% sure he will ask why was it in your friends car so you will sound retarded so just come clean and tell him the truth

Just tell him, i blamed it on the dog that he knocked my drink onto it which went down well for about a week until i was interrogated. I thought I had got away with it.

Edit: Oh and the same thing kind of happened to me, I kind of went overboard on the customizing of the skins and themes of my computer and crashed it, and it has not turned on in the last year. It was hard to tell my mom that it did not work, but it had to be done.
My punishment, I had to go with out a computer for a year.

Been in this situation, and my Dad is the kind to flip out (Not in an abusive way lol) and I lied to him at first, and he eventually found out, which made it worse. Mine was also because I downloaded something dodgy.
I'd say you should tell the truth straight up about it. Might not be easy, but it's a hell of a lot easier than if he was to find out that you were lying. He might not find out, but there's that chance that you probably won't want to take.
Trust me. It's a lot easier if he knows the whole story right away.
