Alright so i installed total media extreme 2 and i can see my screen and everything but when i click record this happens [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

Are the Av cables on both the Xbox and PVR plugged in right? It seems like something is wrong with your video source. After you think you have fixed everything, turn the PVR off and on again.

Yeah they are i just checked disconnected everything then reconnected it and tried it and it didn't work :/

This is no error, you have the box "Enable preview on recording" unchecked, so when you are recording your screen goes black. If you want to see the screen while you record, check the "Enable preview on Recording" and you'll be good to go.
