I have been able to play most games on high+

The only issue may be Sandy Bridge, Ivy Bridge will allow you to play more up to date games etc. Other than the power everything but the Video card is good enough for most high end games.

Sandy Bridge processors are still very capable.

Don't listen to Note. You'd easily be able to run most games on high settings that are out at the moment.

It looks like you will be able to run all modern games on high and some older ones on Ultra graphical settings.

It all looks pretty decent except for that overkill RAM and oldish CPU.
