You only realize how bad they are when you listen to headphones for the same price. For instance, if you've compared the Ultrasone Pro 900 ($300) to the Beats Studio ($300), there's just no contest. They're better in every way imaginable. The Solo (~$175) is so utterly garbage that you can spend $15 on the Koss KSC75 and get a far superior headphone. You don't even need to shell out for the V-Moda M80 ($145) or Aiaiai TMA-1 ($165) to get much better quality. Forget the IEMs, buy a pair of Xeport 5010s for $30 and get better quality than any of the Beats series IEMs.

The Pros are interesting in that they're ridiculously efficient and sound alright. They're still far too expensive for what they are, but they're the best of the Beats line, although that's not saying much. The Mixrs are garbage.

I hate them, i think they're a waste of money. Every kid I see that has them thinks he is in someway better than everyone else because he has on a pair of beats.

I agree, but kids thinking there "cooler" then skull candy or other brands which are ALOT cheaper and cam be just as comfortable. and beats are WAY to fragile <-- but that's my opinion

these are a waste of money i have steeseries that sound better

I got a pair of Sennheiser HD-25ii's and they blow beat pros quality away. If you want headphones that overpower the bass to the point where all you hear IS bass, then beats are for you. And All of the songs you listen to in beats sound like 192kpbs sound quality. It's trash

I have portable beats they are pretty good in my option

ive tried the DJ Beats and theyre amazing . i personally love them but i think its too expensive

I have Beats and their really good!

To me there just normal headphones there's nothing special about them.
