With Battlefield 4 being released later this year, everybody is eager to get their hands on the multiplayer. DICE has just released some new information regarding the Battlefield 4 classes including all of the weapon loadouts, and changes.

One of the most known and requested feature for Battlefield 4 multiplayer is the ability to use C4 on the recon class, this has officially been implemented to the Battlefield 4 multiplayer. It was also given a demonstration during the EA conference at E3 this year. Other classes including the support class now feature access to heavy grenade launchers such as the XM25 and M32 MGL. Players will also be allowed to equip carbines and marksemen rifles, if you're more of a deffensive player. In earlier Battlefield games, carbines could only be used if you were a Engineer, and marksmen rifles were only for the Recon class, now there are no limitations, you can customise your loadout the way you want.

Other class options included in Battlefield 4 include Support class being able to equip a carbine and a grenade launcher, and the Assault class can equip a marksman rifle for long range combat. Grenades can now be equiped with all classes. Similar to Battlefield 3, weapon names will be dedicated to the class. So for example, sniper rifles will remain on Recon, and machine guns for Support.

Newly added to the Battlefield 4 multiplayer is the ability to pick up weapons placed throughout the map. Weapons such as the M82 .50 caliber sniper rifle have been equipped by players from drops as seen at E3.
