Ok, so many of you we pleased to hear that the Xbox One DRM policy was changed. Mostly due to the positive attention that Sony received but I however was quite annoyed at the news. In this post I'll try to explain the good sides of the policy!

USED GAME FEE

Ok, so if you buy a new CoD for 50 pounds. You could get it pre owned for 30 or even 20 pounds, the fee was going to be 5 pounds at first so either way a pre owned game would benefit both the consumer and the developers as they would receive payment from EVERY purchase and through this, the price of new games would become cheaper.

THE MOTHERF*CKIN CLOUD MOTHERF*CKERS

Right, most folks are thinking "those things in the sky?" Well the Cloud is a server(s) that can process background elements that aren't immediately needed (I can't think of an example. DERP) but this will provide a better in game experience as it reduces the consoles need to process things as the cloud provides the power of 3 Xbox One consoles (Apparently)

THE BLUDDY KINECT A MIJJIG

AGain with this, people think that the X1 will slow down because of the processes the Kinect will require, even rhough the Kinect hosts it's own CPU so the X1 won't be affected. Also with the spying, under US government law they are not allowed to use any info collected unless it's to better their products. Besides, so what if they're spying, what are you doing that is so bad ans why would they have need to use it?

DEALS WITH THIS GREAT!

HaS had rules similar to this for years, although game sharing is still allowed alightly, on PC it's not there at all. No lending gamew, EVER! It's something that WILL happen in the future, it's inevitable yet it benefits us so much!
