Having used both extensively, Android fits what I do much better. If you don't think Android is a good OS, you probably haven't used it. There are no valid comparisons to be made between the new consoles and smartphones; that's absurd.

Specs are becoming less and less important and they're just about irrelevant when you compare phones that use different operating systems. What's more important is which "experience" you prefer. Just because the S4 has heaps of RAM doesn't mean the iPhone will be laggy when multitasking in comparison. They're completely different and don't make use of resources the same way. Windows Phones tend to have much weaker specs but that doesn't negatively impact the performance of the OS. If you were comparing an Android phone to another Android phone, specs would be something to look at more closely.

OP, I forgot to mention that you should look at the HTC One as well. A lot of people prefer it over the S4 but it has a different design and set of features. It has an aluminum body, no removable battery or storage, a smaller screen, different Android skin (Sense rather than Touchwiz on the S4), and a smaller screen that is the same resolution.

GS4....but that is just my personal opinion

galaxy s4, some of my friends have the 4s and say its rubbish, all depends on what you like to use though, ino i like the setout of the home tabs on the gs4 and the fact i have freedom for it too look however i want, where as the iphone setup and design its smart it feels set in stone, limited in what you can do and cant do with the setup or layout and i think it feels stiff to use in a way.......

Definately the S4. It's way better from a better processor to 4G LTE.
