I have had 2 different headsets in the past month. Turtle Beach x12 and Tritton AX-180. My problem is that in both of the mics my friends voices suddenly switch to the game volume. So I have to turn up the game volume to hear my friends instead of using the voice control. This happens occasionally but not all the time.

Please Help...

Maybe try another headset? I personally don't Like Turtle Beach and have had the Official Wireless earpiece headset for 3 year and it works perfect

Thanks but this Tritton is brand new and I don't think that it will be a problem with the mics. Seeing as I have had the same problem with 2 mics.
