So last night I was flashing my Phat Lite-on 7 series drive and while doing so, when i hit phat key, i put my probe on, the extract was successful and when disconnecting and reconnecting the power, i believe there was a shortage or a problem with the wire. I believe I fried out the whole dvd drive.
Am i correct? Any fixes on this or does anyone have any experience with this

First of all make sure you kept the extracted key safe, make a copy or secure it somewhere. Worst case scenario is that you fried the PCB which should be easily replaced so long you got a backup of your key/dummy.bin file.
See if the drives shows up on JungleFlasher and test it in the console. If neither work then you'll probably need a replacement PCB as stated.
