I have a Dell Studio laptop that has Windows 7 64 bit. Intel Core 2 Duo. 2.27 Ghz. It has a 4.00 GB ram. Will Minecraft run on my laptop well?

Most games don't work well on laptops.

Well the ram is there but the gpu is the most important part, most laptops have really bad gpu's.

None of their posts are accurate at all.

You didn't list a GPU from which we have to assume is integrated then.

Integrated graphics are bad, it probably won't work well.

If that were true, you wouldn't be able to see anything. It actually wouldn't even boot.

Edit: Anyways op, download the trial and install the optifine mod. Turn the settings down and make sure to enable multicore rendering. You will most likely be able to run it with no problems, but if your integrated graphics are like my old ones, you may only get in the 40s for your fps.

Okay, I played the demo on Minecraft.net, is that the same thing?

Only real difference is you can't play online and you have a certain time you can play it. Depending on how it ran, that should let you know how well you can run it.

If it ran fine, go on and get the full version.

Couldnt you have just tried it? But yes, you should easily be able to play mc on that laptop. Do not have it render distance far though. Put it at normal. and fast graphics
