The tower defense strategy game, "Defense Grid: The Awakening" is the first free game for Xbox Live Gold members and it will be available during the first half of July. However, Just Push Start reported that this game offering shocked most of the gamers. The report read, "Not that it's a bad game, but offering an old arcade game seemed like a slap in the face when PlayStation Plus members are getting games like Battlefield 3 and more."

I totally agree with this statement, I was incredibly disappointed with that game being released for Games with Gold, definitely felt like a kick in the teeth.

Damn! You'd think that was at the top of their agenda, although for the most part they have released some okay games as of now, although I can't help but think they're just going to go right back to like 2009-2010 games that barely anybody really likes, and the ones that do, have already played it to death.
It'd be an immense success if the community was involved, here's to hoping!

Precisely, I mean I'm all for any genre of game, but I genuinely had never even heard of this game, it's almost comical putting in alongside games like Halo, Assassins Creed and Bioshock, all the games that Microsoft KNOW their consumers want with this. I feel PSN really understands their customers and are willing to provide for them, although Microsoft just seems to be taking small steps and not risking anything.

Honestly, I would like to see any multiplayer game.

Mw2, Cod4, gtaV, Battle field.... ect.
