Thats a quick one i put together for you. I was intending to put a 770 on that build rather than the 7970 because i like the Geforce experience software, but as long as you aren't planning to use another GPU before they release the driver updates you're sound.

What do you think the FPS would be for BF3, Minecraft, and CoD on Ultra Settings would be?

Not having that card i can't say for sure, but benchmarks show it quite well just google "7970 Benchmarks" if you want to see what kind of things it can do.

I can run BF3 on highest settings on my 7870LE which is essentially a 7950 when overclocked so im pretty confident it will be fine in that, as for Minecraft, almost anything will run it well.

Is this graphics card as good or better than yours and you run BF3 on Highest quality settings with high FPS

I have a XFX HD7870LE which is based on the same Tahiti chip the 79xx series. A lot of people have overclocked them to 7950 standards so the 7970 should run faster.
