What i have noticed is that people on here that have a lot of posts or have been on the site are just really mean to newer members but not to the older members and people that have a lot of posts. Is this because people just know them better? Like if i or someone else that is a new member says something everyone just goes off on me or the other person just being really rude and such but if a "older" member says the same thing people will agree or be really nice to them and start talking about it or something? i have read the rules and don't see how this is against them in any way if it is somehow please contact me or tell me somehow and i will gladly remove it.

Are you trying to say some of the memebers are bullying you? or being rude?
I would say the only reason why they do that is because they want respect or they are just in a bad mood? there is no need for any member to have this behavior to another member... try to work it out with the person?

Not everyone is like that. I understand the people that are though.

I guess people see it the same way as adults treat younger people.

Adults are quick to jump to conclusions about young people and wouldnt treat them the same as someone there age. On TTG older members or those with high rep/post count treat those with little of either as a noob ect... This is some members NOT all.

That only happens when a new member acts like he knows everything and doesn't have any respect for any of the other members.

I see what you mean. But shouldn't older members help out the younger members? And treat them well so they wont leave or automatically have a bad outlook on the community.

Because most the new members do not care to even take a look at the rules, and then they go on and make pointless threads and then they get a ban and then come back complaining that the staff are terrible and just because I'm new I'm getting picked on and what not..

And I'm not going to disagree with you on members who have been here a while or people with high post counts get more respect, because honestly they do.. but thats not how it should be. I treat everyone with respect on this site unless you go rambling off to me like you no everything.

But new members need to get out of their head that everyone is out to get them just because their new. Thats not true, a lot of members here are trying to help you, not trying hate on you.

sorry to say... give respect to get it.

Yeah, i agree.

Even users who have been here for a day and have like 2 posts should all be treated the same. Some of these newer members bring great topics along with (occasionally) great knowledge of games and other things.

People judge others far too quickly.
