Another announcement you all maybe missed. The US Governement recognises the #LCS as a Sport on par with NBA,NFL,NHL so pro's get visas now

This means League of LegendsChampionship Series is now considered a sport on par with NBA, NFL, and NHL.
Riot put in some work trying to get this and they finally succeeded, pro players will have a much easier time travelling for League now.

I feel like that's a slight exaggeration, with a maximum of around 200,000 people watching each game, that's well under the average that view the group of games on a weekend or whenever football is played in the US.

Football is much older than LoL and esports as a whole, and it is newly growing. But not too long ago it was much much smaller. It is steadily growing and even though not that many may watch it at one time, these players do make good enough money to recognize them as a sport.
The top earning league of legends player make over $200,000 a year, so it is hard to overlook

That is actually so embarrassing to our country. You can't put that on the same level as an actual sport.

That's really rude to say don't you think, i mean what about people with disabilities that can't play sports but want to be recognized as an athlete so they become a pro league of legends player, i'd be happy if my country recognized league as a sport.
