I think Beats are a decent pair of headphones, they're just REALLY overpriced. I think SOL Republic does a better job of keeping a better price-to-quality ratio here.

they do output good quality sound and they cancel all the noise around you i like that

Beats are the most over-hyped, over-popular, and over priced things ever. They're not bad headphones, but compared to the many other audio listening devices that you can get that are MUCH cheaper and MUCH better, they are pretty crap.

People seem buy them because:
-they are told by others that they're the best (they're not)
-truly believe that their purchase is worth it
-buy it just because of the name and the look of it

I cannot stress that last point enough. I see more
people walking around with these headphones strangling down their necks or hung around some other part of their body that isn't around their ears than actually using it to listen to music.

Beats are only nice looking headphones they have an alright sound quality but nothing special. You can get much better head or earphones for much much cheaper.
