The build is very unbalanced for gaming but it's all compatible. You also won't be using two of those ETS-T40s.

Correct me if i am wrong, but I do believe you cant use a 3rd generation CPU in a 4th generation socket.

No, just no. The AMD Vishera 8350 has 8 cores. The other 4 cores are virtual cores. Applications today do not need that many cores and nothing takes advantage of them. That's why AMD is backing down to 4 cores. Why do you think Intel never went to 8 cores?

Do you have evidence to prove that the 4 cores are virtual? Not that I don't believe you but I have always been under the impression that they were authentic cores that shared cache.

No need to poo-poo AMD for having a CPU that is better for different tasks. You can't beat the Vishera 8-cores for the price if you can take advantage of the extra threads.

OP, here's my suggestion: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

The price is higher because no storage was included in the build you posted.

Google my friend. You can prove me wrong, but from research I did when comparing the vishera and the i7 haswell when I purchased my cpu I found that out.
