Overall 99's only work on Blacktop, not on Career. There is a 87-90 Overall on 2k Share that works fine, I'm 4 seasons with it and im now a 89 Overall

My brother has a 99 everything player & uses him in My Career and it works fine for him. When he got to the menu after being drafted and looked at his stats, everything was 99 still. When I do it my stats aren't all 99.

Maybe you have a Fake 99 Overall that has been named that it is most likely a 90 or 80 overall then

Or did you try loading it

If not go to options then select load save and choose the one that is overall 99

Even doing that won't help, sometimes even after doing that A Overall 99 that says it may not actually be one,

if you have bought any jewelry for your my player either delete it or put it on a flash drive and remove it and it should work. Load up 2k make a new mycareer then after the showcase it should be all 99. Let me know if this works.
