My Parents Don't Care I Stay Up Till Like 6 Or 7 Every Morning And Sleep Till 1 Or 2 And Go Outside Till Like 1 In The Morning Most Nights.

my problem is my parents get frustrated im on xbox all night... I mean what else am I supposed to do at 1 am? my sleep pattern is slightly off and I get told I can't play xbox....

I don't see anything wrong with it. its summer I play soccer during the day until 9 pm... all I want is a little time on xbox. does anyone else have this problem?

I'm 17 and starting college next month but I never had this probel my parents let me do it and they were like "well you can do what you want and learn the hard way." I did it anyways its really not a big deal I mean if it's not a school night why should it matter? Just do what your parents say or just be sneaky and don't let them know your up, play music so they don't hear you or something.

My parents don't do that, i know a lot of people's parents who do. I just go skate for about 5 hours a day and hang out with friends. When i go on xbox (rarely) my mom is actually surprised haha

The only time either of my parents was upset is when my dad caught me playing at 4:00 AM. They're pretty lenient.

I used to play Xbox a lot. And I mean a lot, eventually leading to MLG Halo 3 brackets and pay out leagues. Sadly it got to where I was unable to do things I really enjoyed, such as Soccer camps, teams, etc. I don't really play anymore, I tend to avoid playing, but from past experience I can see where parents come from when it comes to as my parents would call it "Get off the D*mn Nintendo! "But it's an Xbox mom :trollin: ! IDGAF, *Slap*".

Of course, you say you only play at night, and do productive things (Soccer is ultimately productive, baseball fans gtfo) during the day, so you have a much more valid argument. You seem like a very chill person, but you may be one of the people who freak out on Xbox. As for my parents, they would hear the hot headed MLG players (The broadcast both teams voice chat at most competitions) scream and curse, over video games when I was attending an event, and they would debate over me playing more.

Parents don't do these things to ruin your social life, they have reasoning. You have an extremely valid point at the fact that you only play at night when there's nothing more to do. Tell them that it's better for you to be talking to your cool friends (Famoose, just gtfo) and people who accept you in a party, rather than having the idiotic CoD community harass you and flame. If all else fails, make a deal with them. Such as an agreement that if you do the things they approve of (Good marks in school, not being a shutout, etc) then you should be able to play Xbox as you see fit. Xbox is very fun, and pretty addictive, just don't do something stupid like rage and throw the console out the window
