I would like to know if this build is a good deal, if everything is compatible, and if it will play most current games for a few years.

I plan on playing: DayZ, Minecraft, Planetside 2, Arma 3, Indie games, Half Life mods, maybe some modded COD. Thanks brahs.

It will all be compatible but it looks like your overspending a little on the motherboard and RAM.

No man don't spend that much money unless your gonna be playing Skyrim with 20 mods and recording and uploading at the same time. You do not need to spend that much for what your gonna be doing. I mean it will work better for longer but you can get a PC that will do all that for $700-$850

Hey thanks so much for the help. I do plan on getting some high end games like BF4 and stuff. I also want to know, I've heard the i5 is fine for gaming. I only plan on doing some heavy gaming and web browsing. Do i need and i7 or is i5 fine. Also the only reason I had that much ram is to last me a long time. Feel free to spam me with all sorts of different builds and prices. Thanks.

You'd only make use of an i7 for it's hyper threading which is used in certain editing applications. RAM is easily upgradable and most games won't even max out eight.

Ok what is the best i5 for gaming? I've heard it's the i5 3770k or something like that but, as you can tell, I'm a n00b. But seriously I really appreciate all the help I'm getting.
