No where in the article does it even say the word/number 700.

It's not 700 people that have died as a direct result of the heat it's people who have died because of accidents in the heat.
The Daily Mail can't make stories out of accidents so they're attributing it to the heatwave.

The Daily Mail = Full of Lies

Probably just a rise in old people dying, could be vaguely related but it's not the direct cause of all the deaths. They exaggerate a lot in the UK.

That just says that 700 people have died in heatwave related incidences, It means all-time I believe
