Hey guys i got it a couple weeks back i left it and went back still had the error i took it apart and those dreaded x-clamps put new thermal paste and everything. when i turn it on i see a quick light on the bottom right and then 2 on the left i know 2 on the left mean over heating? But it is just booting up and yes i checked the x-clamps and there on tight, heatsinks dont move at all and i just really really need help! If you help me ill record your clips or w/e please!!! help. Sorry for no periods, comas, etc i just need help! Dx

hmm have you tried using it without the casing of the xbox on it usually this helps the air circulate throughout the system better try that and if that doesen't work try letting it sit for a day or so then come back to it and make sure it's not in a room that's considered hot keep it cool.

It never even had a case on it. I let it air for a week with nothing but air on an elevated shelf. I tried everything thought someone might know, thanks for tryna help.

alright well your welcome although as most people know and i'm sure you know where the thermal paste was there was little band-aid things what some guy i know did was wrap some pennies in electrical tape and put the thermal paste on the penny and the electrical tape and replace the band-aid things with those so try that. but other then that i have no other ideas

will do i saw that vid aswell looked useless tho as it doesnt turn on barely without giving me a overheating error i think that solution was for e74 although i will try if push comes to shove which i kno in turn it will be a waste of an attempt i dont see that working but thanks alot

Try propping the console up on bottle caps to allow for better airflow, fixed every problem i was having with mine.

no it must be something internal i mean its OPEN nothing having to do with airflow because it gives me an overheating error right when i turn it on the fans go loud then stop, just need to know if anyone has experience will return the favor somehow! somehow!

My brother had that problem. It ended up being a problem with the fan.
