Xbox One can play digital titles mid-download

Xbox One can play games while they're still downloading to the system, too. Microsoft confirmed to Polygon that, much like PS4, its console can get gamers into the action by loading the necessary files for early game play first.

Microsoft already confirmed physical games could be played while installing from the disc (which is good, since you have to install them), but this announcement brings its quick-play options into closer parity with PS4.

Do you think the ability to play before your download completes will affect whether you buy games physically or digitally?

Tis is pretty nice, especially if you have slow download speed.

Couldn't this cause a problem for players who progress faster than the game is downloading? It's seems to me that it might cause a fatal system error if it tried to acquire files that did not yet exist on the console. If it all works out I'll definitely be taking advantage of it, however being someone with a little experience I'm worried this could possibly result in a problem.

Thankfully they have added that feature to the xbox one. I have always hated the fact you can't do it with the xbox 360.
