I'm getting the new gaming laptop and I was wondering what size I should get. I will be taking this to 1 class in the morning and leaving it in a safe locker until the end of the school. So I won't be lugging it around to all my classes. This will be my main gaming rig and I will bring it home after school. Should I get the 17 inch which weighs about 9 lbs, or the 14 inch which weighs almost 7 lbs. That is a 2 lb difference and a 3 inch screen difference. In the 17, it is bigger so it will cool better I think. Any advice? Thanks

Alienware is seriously overrated, I wouldn't recommend getting one. As for the screen size, go with the biggest you can get, and for a 2 pound difference, that's literally nothing.

Why are you getting an alienware?
Don't.
17 inch laptops are too big to comfortably carry around, so if you're going to use it for school, get a 15 inch.

i have a 17.3" laptop its kinda big and slightly bulky to be used as a laptop. however it also depends if the tiny little 14" can support 1080p.
if i had to choose again i would pick the 14" (for a Laptop) even tho most people use them on desks anyway
