im hoping one of the gurus could help me on this since im not versed in graphics cards since pc gaming was never a priority of mine.
anyway, i just decided to start getting into pc gaming and my 550ti obviously wont be able to keep up. im trying to play most games on 1080p res on high/ultra settings. im leaning towards the 7950 ( [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] )
my question is, will this card be able to play in 1080p res and high/ultra settings while maintaining above 30fps? will it also be able to keep up with future releases or should i opt for a better card? My last question is, will i face any bottlenecking?
i7-2600k
32gb 1866 ram
asus p8z68 mobo
rosewill green 670w psu (i know ill probably need a bigger psu since ill be right around that borderline)

If you want some really intense graphics get dual 680's i was going to do that for my 3D gaming rig but decided not to get an overkill rig and infact just buy a 400 rig.

Go for a 7970 if you want to make sure you get that high FPS while gaming. If your still not convinced, go for a 7950 still and that will still get you a decent FPS.

A 7950 will play every game very nicely. It is on par with a GTX 760 which also will. If that is your budget, get it.

A 7950 will perform very well at 1080p.
It will run every game at High/Ultra.

As people said the 7950 with latest drivers is a very good card, however I heard one say up the a 7970 and if you are going to do that go for latest gen and the GTX760.
The GTX760 is cheaper than the 7970 and has higher clock speed, memory clock speed and better power consumption.
